The Power of Networking: Building Relationships to Grow Your Business

When we start a business, it’s important to remember: launching is just the beginning. True growth comes from building strong relationships within your industry.
When I founded Sobe Kreative, I quickly realized the importance of networking and connecting with other entrepreneurs and professionals. Networking opened doors to new opportunities, partnerships, and collaborations that pushed my business forward.
One of the best ways to get started is by joining industry-specific groups and attending events—both online and in person.
Because Sobe Kreative was launched during the pandemic, in-person networking wasn’t an option. But online opportunities grew in necessity and reshaped how we connect and learn as business owners. Wix, for example, offered live online events filled with resources for web designers. HubSpot’s targeted courses fueled my knowledge in marketing and social networking while providing forums to connect with peers. These platforms created space for virtual connections, shared advice, and mutual support.
Now, as the world has reopened, we have even more ways to connect: expos, TED talks, conferences, or local entrepreneurial workshops. Wherever you source your resources, prioritize connections that fuel growth for both you and your business.
Because success in business isn’t just about what you know—it’s about who you know. Investing time into building and nurturing professional relationships creates a supportive network that can carry your business further than you can alone.
