About Sharllah Brewster
Expressively Coded Ink
I’m Sharllah Brewster—a storyteller, speaker, digital creator, and recovering dreamer who finally gave herself permission to rise.
Born in Barbados and shaped by every lesson, stumble, and breakthrough along the way, I’ve learned that your voice—your real, unfiltered, imperfect voice—is the most powerful tool you own.
For me, storytelling started early. As a child with dyslexia, a stutter, and a lisp, the written word became my refuge—and eventually, my revolution. Years later, that same love of words evolved into spoken word performances, published books, and designs that help others tell their stories, too.
Expressively Coded Ink is the heart of that journey—a creative space where storytelling meets design, where tech and truth blend, and where every project reflects purpose.
From my children's book Apple’s Perfect Picnic, to building digital spaces for visionary brands, to empowering recovering parents and creatives to reclaim their stories—everything I create is rooted in one belief: "Your voice matters. Your story deserves to be seen, heard, and felt."
Whether I’m writing, designing, or standing on a stage, I help people rise—to share their truths, amplify their message, and rewrite the narratives that hold them back.
Welcome to my world of bold words, healing stories, and intentional design.
