Un-niched and unapologetic, I live and breathe creative expression. From writing to crafting, everything I do is inspired by the stories found in the simple day-to-day. But my love for words didn't always come naturally. Growing up with dyslexia, a stutter and a heavy lisp, I spent much of my time avoiding words—until I started writing them instead. Within the lines of my notebook, I found a voice. I was not invisible, and I discovered I had the power to create worlds and experiences that couldn't exist outside my pen. Today, I lend that pen to children's books filled with whimsical tales, romance and sensual poetry—and my signature project, The Original Little Illustrator, where children's artwork becomes part of a personalized story created just for them.
