The Story Behind Sobe Kreative (Now Expressively Coded Ink)

Sobe Kreative has thrived for over four years, and as it takes on a new identity as Expressively Coded Ink, 2025 is already shaping up to be a year of beautiful expansion. Reflecting on how it all started, I’m reminded that what began as a simple need for a website to showcase my authorship during the pandemic unexpectedly led me into the world of web design.

As I built my own site, I fell in love with design. The compliments poured in once it was finished, though my finances told a different story. That’s when it hit me — why not combine my passion for design with my natural writing talent? I could grow my skills and pursue web design professionally. And so, I did.

With a foundation in business consulting from my college degree, I expanded my expertise by enrolling in online courses to master web design, marketing, and platform management. My very first client was a business in Malaysia. I undercharged for that project, but it was a pivotal moment — the true birth of Sobe Kreative. That experience taught me my worth and showed me how passion could become profession.

Since then, I’ve been honored to serve more than 13 businesses and design and/or edited over 25 websites (and counting!).
